Location Guide

Wayside Inn Gristmill, Sudbury MA

Finding the Grist Mill at the Wayside Inn

The Grist Mill is located in a separate area of the Wayside Inn property, just a short drive down the road from the main inn. Be sure you’re heading to the Grist Mill area rather than the main Wayside Inn!

Where to Meet: I’ll typically meet you in front of the large tree and welcome sign or near the iconic red water wheel. Keep an eye out for me when you arrive! If you’re unsure where to go, feel free to reach out.

Parking Information: There is a dedicated parking area near the Grist Mill, but it can fill up quickly, especially during busy fall weekends. If the lot is full, street parking may be available nearby where permitted. Please allow a little extra time to find parking and walk to our meeting spot so we can start your session on time.

A Little Tip: The Grist Mill area can get busy, particularly during peak foliage season, so arriving a few minutes early is always a good idea. I’ll be ready to meet you and help get our session started!

Wellesley College, Wellesley MA

Our session will begin at the Wellesley College Club, located just off Route 16. This is our meeting point before we head out to the surrounding grounds for photos!

Where to Meet: I’ll meet you at the Wellesley College Club parking area. We’ll take a short walk to our photo location. Depending on our session length and timing, we may have the opportunity to visit up to three different spots within walking distance, giving us a nice variety of backgrounds and scenery!

Parking Information: There are a few parking spaces available at the College Club, but parking is limited and open to other visitors walking the grounds

A Little Tip: Since we’ll be walking between photo spots, comfortable shoes might be an option to pack for getting from place to place.

Tangerini's Spring Street Farm, Millis MA

Tangerini’s is a beautiful spot for photos, with scenic farm grounds, seasonal flowers, and plenty of charming backdrops to explore! Depending on the season and what’s growing, we can walk around the property and incorporate the flowers and farm scenery into your session.

Where to Meet: I’ll meet you near the ice cream stand or at the entrance to the farm shop. These are easy landmarks to look for when you arrive!

Parking Information: There is a large parking lot at the farm, so parking is generally easy and convenient. Please give yourself a few extra minutes to park and find our meeting spot before your session begins.

A Little Tip: Tangerini’s is a working farm, so the scenery and available areas may vary depending on the season. I arrange a photography pass for our session, which allows us to explore the grounds and, when available, photograph among the flowers. Flower fields are seasonal, so the scenery will depend on what’s blooming during your visit!

The Knob, Falmouth MA

The Knob is a beautiful coastal location with sailboats, beach views, and gorgeous ocean scenery! Since we're working with the natural elements, every session here can look a little different depending on the weather, wind, and tides.

Where to Meet: I’ll meet you at the lower beach, near the sailboats. This is typically where we’ll spend most of our session, with beautiful water views and a classic Cape Cod feel.

Parking Information: Parking at The Knob can be tricky, and there are limited spaces available. Please allow extra time to find a spot, especially during busy weekends and peak summer season. Arriving a few minutes early is always a good idea!

What to Expect: I typically keep our session to the lower beach area, where we have plenty of beautiful scenery to work with. Depending on your session and how much time we have, the tides, and the wind, we may decide to explore farther toward the ocean side. That area requires a bit more walking, so we’ll make that decision together based on the conditions and the time we have.

A Little Tip: We're working with the ocean, so flexibility is key! Tides, wind, and weather can be unpredictable, and conditions may change what areas are accessible or comfortable to photograph. Wear comfortable shoes for walking on the beach, and be prepared for a little coastal breeze. We’ll work with whatever Mother Nature gives us!

Mill Pond Park, Ashland MA

Mill Pond Park is one of those little hidden gems that offers a lot of variety in a small space! With beautiful wooded areas, charming bridges, and pond views, we can capture a variety of looks without having to walk very far.

Where to Meet: I’ll meet you right in the Mill Pond Park parking lot. Once everyone arrives, we’ll head out together to explore the park and find some beautiful spots for your photos.

Parking Information: There is a parking lot at the park, making it easy to meet up and get started. Please arrive a few minutes early so you have time to park and get ready for your session.

What to Expect: Although it’s a smaller park, there’s plenty of variety! We can take advantage of the wooded trails, interesting bridges, and peaceful pond scenery to create a gallery with several different backdrops. Since everything is relatively close together, it’s a great option for a relaxed session without a lot of walking.

A Little Tip: The wooded areas can have uneven ground, so comfortable shoes to pack are always a good idea. Depending on the season, the lighting and scenery will change, giving us something a little different to work with throughout the year.
